Week Rundown! (05/18/14 - 05/24/14)

Malachi and I attended Men's Prayer Breakfast at church on Sunday, and then I did the van route. After church, we came home and rested for the afternoon. We attended the Birthday and Anniversary fellowship following the evening services.

Monday was Lydia's first day on her new job at BKD. She got up early and made sure she was on time. It was a day of orientation. I picked up the kids from school, started supper at home, and then took Mysia to her piano lessons. We enjoyed the evening as a family before actually going to bed at a decent hour!

On Tuesday, I picked the kids up from school and they watched a movie while I finished the workday before we met Lydia back at the school. We had been invited to the school volunteer banquet. Mysia sang for us while we ate as part of the Weller Pride Choir. We even won a few door prizes. We made it back home in time to watch an episode of Gilligan's Island before going to bed.  evening, we

II picked the kids up from school on Wednesday and they watched a movie while I finished the workday before we met Lydia home for supper. We then got ready and attended the evening church services.

Thursday afternoon was Malachi's kindergarten graduation at school. Lydia and I were able to take off work as lunch and attend. Both grandmas were there as well. Malachi did great and got got his "diploma". We're so proud of him! Once home for the evening, we ate supper and Lydia headed out to a Scentsy Party. The kids enjoyed the nice hot weather by playing in the sprinkler for almost an hour! They watched some tv before taking showers and going to bed.

On Friday, Malachi was awarded "PRIDE Panther" at school, and I was able to attend to see him get his paper. He walked proud, wearing his brand new shirt declaring the honor. After school, both kids watched a movie while I finished my day at work. For the evening, we ate supper and watched a movie before going to bed.

After sleeping in for a bit, we woke up Saturday morning and ate breakfast before heading out to taekwondo class. We worked on our forms in preparation for the "Open House" planned for June 7th. For the afternoon, we visited with relatives at my Grandma's house and also visited my Grandpa's gravesite. We were able to get some housework done before attending a wedding that evening. It was an unique and fun wedding, thankfully it didn't rain, as it was held outdoors.
