I love green onions. I remember getting them from my grandma's garden every summer. They're great to eat by themselves, or included in something as simple as potato soup. We use green onions quite a bit when cooking and preparing dinners and have had them on our grocery list almost every week.
Well, Lydia found (on Pinterest, go figure) that if you put them in a vase with water and they'll grow! I don't know why we didn't think of that earlier... duh! What a great idea. It's also pretty neat. The picture shows what they look like after only a few days after cutting them!
