The other day, it was reported in the local news that the Springfield Police are utilizing some online tools to help make citizens aware of crime in the city. What's interesting is that all the crime activity in Springfield can now be seen at CrimeReports.com. It's awesome! It features a crime map, which is accessible 24 hours a day... and the best part, it is also available as a free iPhone app!
The app is not the simplest thing to use, but it contains a lot of information! Definitely worth looking into if you like knowing what's going on in your area.
