Children's Christmas Party & Program Practice (Saturday, 12/19/09)

Well, today was a bit more hectic than other Saturdays. I went into work at 6am for some overtime. I got off around 9:30 and headed straight home. We were supposed to be at the church at ten. Well, Lydia and the kids weren't quite ready when I arrived. So we hurried up as fast as we could. We were getting ready to leave, and Lydia was doingMysia's hair before heading out the door. She sprayed her hair, and it turned blue! The more she sprayed, the more it turned! We didn't know what was happening!

Come to find out, Mysia had gotten a packet of kool-aid and tried to eat the powder in her room. By doing so, she got it in her hair! And you all know what happens when that powder gets wet!

Needless to say, Mysia got a quick shower before we headed to church! When we got there, the little kids had already finished their practice. They got gifts, ate pizza, and watched a video! After a bit, Lydia took the kids home, while I waited for the older kids to finish their party. I then took several of them home on the van!

We then did grocery shopping and came home and spent the night at home. We were planning on going to Silver Dollar City, but decided that it wouldn't be a good idea to have Malachi outside in the cold!
