Christmas Decorating... Part 1 (Tuesday, 12/01/09)

I'll start of this blog post with an update on Malachi. I'm happy to report that he put on his shoes himself, and on the correct feet! He's a smart little guy!

It was Tuesday, and we knew we needed to get that tree decorated! But first things first... our house was a disaster! We had came back from our trp, and pretty much neglected the house as we unpacked. But most of all, toys were everywhere! We spent a good amount of the evening picking up and straightening the kids' rooms!

Since it was getting late, Lydia suggested we put up their individual Christmas trees, and then see about the main tree. It was a good idea. Malachi's tree was first, and he did a wonderful job for a two year-old. His tree is covered in blue ornaments, in which he tried hanging several up on the same branch! Mysia's tree was next. She fawned over every pink ornament, and each had a very special place.

Unfortunately, by the time we were done with their trees, it was decided that it was time for them to go to bed. Lydia and I stayed up, she had homework to do, and I worked on some more graphic design stuff!
